PARKS

The Jefferson Township Trustees own and maintain two (2) parks that are both located in the township.

Jefferson Township Parks Rules

1. Park Hours: Open dawn to dusk.
2. Respect Others: Be courteous to fellow park-goers. No loud noises or disruptive behavior.
3. Pets: Must be on a leash. Clean up after your pet.
4. No Alcohol or Drugs: Prohibited in all park areas.
5. No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the park.
6. Trash: Use trash bins. Do not litter.
7. Facilities: Keep restrooms and picnic areas clean. Report any issues.
8. Wildlife: Do not feed or disturb animals.
9. Stay on Trails: Protect plants and wildlife by staying on marked paths.
10. Playgrounds: Children must be supervised. Use equipment safely.
11. Fires: Allowed only in designated areas. Extinguish before leaving.
12. No Unauthorized Vehicles: Bicycles only on paths, no motorized vehicles off-road.
13. Permits Required: For events, fishing, and camping. Contact the township office.
