We are currently seeking dedicated professionals for the following roles:
- Full-Time Shift Supervisor (Captain)
- Part-Time Firefighter
- Part-Time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Part-Time Paramedic
Role Description
These on-site roles involve responding to emergency incidents, providing fire suppression and rescue services, administering emergency medical care, conducting safety inspections, and maintaining equipment. The positions require individuals who can perform effectively in high-pressure situations and work collaboratively with a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State-certified Fire Fighter Level 1 and Level 2
- EMT or Paramedic certification
- Valid state driver's license
- Good physical fitness and swimming ability
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and calmly

ROAD DEPARTMENT OPEN POSITIONS

Jefferson Township is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Part Time or Seasonal Road Workers. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to contribute to their community while gaining valuable experience in public works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with road maintenance and repair tasks, including pothole filling, road patching, and brush clearing.
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment used in road construction and maintenance.
- Work alongside a team to ensure safe and efficient operations on roadways.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous experience in construction or public works is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
