Please review all information carefully, answer all questions and submit all the documentation required, along with the required fee. An incomplete or inaccurate application may cause a delay in the hearing of your zoning case. If a copy of the Article and Section of the Zoning Resolution regarding the conditional use that you seek is not included with this information packet, please call the zoning administrator at 937-262-3591 ext 107.

AGRICULTURAL USE DECLARATIONList Item 1
In order to qualify for an agricultural exemption, a structure must be sited on a parcel of five (5) acres or more in area. By signing this declaration, the property owner certifies that the structure is used strictly for agricultural purposes with no personal use whatsoever.

BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS APPLICATION
The BZA has the power to hear and decide applications for conditional uses, variances and administrative appeals.

ZONING VIOLATIONS COMPLAINT FORM
Zoning and Code Enforcement are responsible for the enforcement of existing structural maintenance. This enforcement includes structural housing conditions (both interior and exterior), non-residential exterior enforcement, residential zoning, structural and public use nuisance, and yard standards. We facilitate the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jefferson Township through the enforcement of property maintenance codes, and education, and by bringing people and resources together.

DEMOLITION PERMIT APPLICATION
This application is for the approval of the entire building demolition when no new construction is part of the scope of work. All Utilities and Services must be disconnected, and the meters removed before this permit can be issued.

A “Neighborhood Block Party” is defined as: An outdoor party organized by residents for the purpose of interacting informally with surrounding neighbors and which requires small sections of a city street to be temporarily blocked off.

RIGHT OF WAY EXACATION PERMIT
On August 03, 2022, the Jefferson Township Board of Trustees approved Resolution No. 22 -068 establishing regulations for permits and fee schedules. The rules and regulations for permits include specifications for right-of-way improvements. The Board of Trustees delegates to the Road Supervisor the authority to implement the permit policy. The permit procedure was made effective immediately.
