Certification Application Assistance

Our region has several certifying agencies. Our team will help you prepare your applications (to ensure you are eligible for the desired certification and to increase the likelihood of success).

Certification gives firms exclusive access to top corporate purchasing agents, premium networking events, searchable supplier databases, affordable consulting services, technology programs, and vital introductions to nationally known corporations.

Certification is a tool that assists certified business owners in competing for government procurement opportunities. Most jurisdictions that participate or receive state or federal funds are required to set project inclusion goals that provide opportunities for minority-owned and/or disadvantaged business owners. These goals are based on the availability of companies in different areas. The more companies that complete the certification process increase, the more goals that can be set on opportunities.

Next, becoming a certified firm allows companies to work with larger companies. Bid solicitation requires a good-faith effort on the part of the prime bidder. This requirement allows certified firms to connect with larger firms and gain valuable work experience.

Finally, becoming a part of the certification program provides certified companies with direct opportunities for current and future State of Ohio open contract opportunities. Certified companies receive information in a timely manner and receive support to respond to bids or RFPs.
