Fall Flag Football


The Jefferson Township NFL Flag Football League offers an exciting co-ed program for children ages 4-12. Running from August 12th through September 29th, this league provides young athletes with a fun and non-contact introduction to football. Games are one hour long, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness in a supportive environment. Participants will enjoy high-quality coaching and NFL-branded gear, ensuring an authentic and enjoyable experience for all.




Charles Richardson Park

Located at the south end of Strand Ave. (south of Third Street, west of Liscum)

This is a beautiful 12 acre park that features:
Shelter house
Newly updated playground
Hard surfaces (former basketball court)
Large grass areas for sports

Blairwood Park

Located near Blairwood Elementary, at the end of Normdave Drive)

This is a beautiful 12 acre park that features:
Shelter house
Softball field with backstop
Hard surfaces (former tennis & basketball court)
Large grass areas
Rolling creek

The parks are maintained with General Fund Revenue, with limited funding approved by voters. The parks are managed with funds that are available & donations received. There is NO park levy in Jefferson Township.
