Leaf Collection 2026
Jefferson Township's 2026 Leaf Collection Program begins Monday, November 2, with an earlier start and a more flexible approach to serving our community. The Road Department will work through three designated collection zones on a rotating schedule, allowing crews to respond to changing weather conditions and leaf volume while maintaining other essential road services. Residents can use our online street directory to identify their collection zone and follow updates on collection progress throughout the season. Our goal is to provide efficient, reliable service while keeping residents informed every step of the way.

2026 Leaf Collection Program
Jefferson Township's Road Department will begin its annual leaf collection program on Monday, November 2, 2026. Each collection zone is scheduled to receive three collection rounds before the program concludes on December 11, weather permitting.
Residents should have loose leaves placed at the curb by the preparation deadline for their zone. Use the calendar, collection schedule, or street search below to plan ahead.

Preparing Your Leaves

- Place loose leaves along the curbline.
- Have leaves ready by your zone deadline.
- Keep storm drains clear.
- Leave room for collection equipment.
✕ Please Avoid
- Bagging leaves for vacuum collection.
- Mixing branches, sticks, or trash into piles.
- Parking on or beside leaf piles.
- Blocking drains or roadways.
Winter Weather & Program Completion
Leaf collection is scheduled to conclude no later than Friday, December 11, 2026.
If snowfall, icy roads, or winter weather require the Road Department to transition to snow and ice operations, leaf collection will end early.
Remaining rounds canceled because of winter weather will not be rescheduled.
Residents are encouraged to use their earliest collection opportunity rather than waiting until the final round.
